We’re delighted that The Haven has been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund for the next 12 months.
The Co-op Local Community Fund supports projects across the UK that members care about.
For over twenty years, The Haven has been providing invaluable emotional and practical support to individuals, carers, and families across Lanarkshire to help them cope with the impact of illness and bereavement.
As you can imagine, the last few years has had a considerable impact on our fundraising efforts due to the pandemic, so we’re really grateful to have this partnership with the local Co-op food store in Hamilton and Co-op Funeralcare in Hamilton and Blantyre.
We’re urging local members to choose The Haven as their cause so we can help more people across Lanarkshire. These funds will help increase our capacity so we can provide emotional and mental wellbeing support services for children and young people who are affected by loved one’s life-limiting illness and/or bereavement.
When members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 1p from every pound spent goes to support local causes like ours.
