Roisin and David Sweeney are picking up their trainers and hitting the streets to once again help raise vital funds in aid of The Haven.
The Haven was set-up by Roisin's mum, Doctor Rosalie Dunn, 22 years ago. Both Roisin and David have been long-standing supporters of The Haven and have taken part in many fundraising activities and events over the years. We are so grateful to them for their continued support and raising funds for us – helping The Haven continue to support individuals, families and carers affected by a life-limiting illness and bereavement.
Roisin and David took part in the Inverness Half-Marathon in March - with both completing it under a very impressive two hours (Roisin achieved a Personal Best at 1hr50mins and David put in a great shift as part of his marathon training with a time of 1hr57 mins!).
David will be going one step further by taking on the Manchester Marathon on 14th April 2024.
