Volunteers are vital to the sustainability of The Haven and we are always looking for new people to come on board.
People volunteer at The Haven for a number of reasons. It could be that they want to do something meaningful in their local community or if they have received support from The Haven in the past they can see it as a way of giving something back. Whatever the reason, we welcome those willing to volunteer with open arms.
Volunteering can provide a lot of benefits to the person volunteering, not just to us. Some of these include:
- Gaining confidence
- Making a difference
- Meeting new people
- Being part of a community
- Learning new skills
- Taking on a challenge
Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding things you will ever do. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to give there will be something at The Haven to suit you.
There are a number of exciting volunteer opportunities at The Haven.
