Video Support Calls
We have continually been reviewing and further developing our Wellbeing Support Service to ensure that clients needs continue to be met during the ongoing covid-19 crisis.
A further development of our Wellbeing Support Service is the introduction of 1:1 video support calls facilitated by the Attend Anywhere video conferencing technology. Attend Anywhere enables clients to access Video Support Calls with Haven Nurses and Children, Young People and Families Service Co-ordinator in their own homes via a pre-arranged appointment. The service is only able to be accessed using the Google Chrome web browser on a PC and Android smartphone/tablet or by using the Safari browser on Mac or Apple smartphone/tablet. A webcam or camera built into your smartphone/tablet device is required.
Please be aware that this service is only available for clients with pre-arranged appointments. Please do not enter the virtual waiting room if you do not have an appointment. If you do not have an appointment and would like to schedule one with a Haven practitioner please contact our Wellbeing Support Line on 01555 811846, open Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm.
Before Your Appointment

To enter the virtual waiting room and begin your scheduled appointment please click here. When you enter the waiting room please enter your full name so your Haven Nurse or Children, Young People and Families Co-ordinator can identify you.
Please note that prior to your video call beginning you will be prompted to complete some simple checks to ensure that your microphone and webcam are connected and working correctly.
After Your Appointment
Once your scheduled appointment has ended you will be directed to the Survey Monkey webpage and will be asked to complete a short feedback questionnaire. Completing the feedback request is not mandatory however we would be grateful for any feedback you could provide.
What about my personal information?
Security, privacy and data protection are integral to the Attend Anywhere system:
Health-grade privacy, security, and data protection are at the forefront of the system.
Users enter Waiting Areas through a provided link and wait in their own private video room.
There is no chance of another client entering their room by mistake, and the room is deleted after the meeting.
Users leave no digital footprint. No client-identifiable information remains in the system after the meeting ends.
How much does a video call cost me?
The video call is free (except for internet/mobile data usage):
Users don’t use any data while waiting for a clinician to join them.
A video consultation uses less than half of the data watching a YouTube video in High Definition does - about 120 MB on a mobile device, and 230 MB on a computer for a 10-minute call.
Data use is less on lower-speed internet connections, or if using a less powerful computer, tablet, or Smartphone. However, these factors can also reduce the overall quality of the call.
Data use increases when there are more than two participants in the call.
