Volunteering 
Volunteers are vital to the work of The Haven and help in a number of ways. They are often the first contact for clients attending the centre and by making tea and coffee and providing emotional and social support, they provide a warm, welcoming environment where people can relax and feel at ease. Volunteers participate in a number of activities including: Undertaking administrative tasks Producing a newsletter Developing patient information packs Providing complementary therapies Organising fund raising events
Volunteering has benefits for both clients and volunteers Many people enjoy: Above all, volunteers often find personal satisfaction in being involved in something worthwhile and feeling that they can make a difference.
