An innovative service to help people facing hair-loss as a result of treatment for cancer, is now available at the Haven.

For many people, especially women, losing their hair can be as traumatic as the initial cancer diagnosis, affecting an individual's self-confidence and well being.

This new service, delivered by The Haven in partnership with Breast Cancer Care in Scotland, offers practical and emotional support from specially trained volunteers. Hour long appointments are available throughout the week and are open to people with any type of cancer, not just breast cancer.
