Yoga
Mind, muscle and movement is offered to all clients on the first, second and third Thursdays of the month, in a light hearted, nurturing environment (with a heavy accent on the social element!) The aim of the session is to allow participants to learn “self-help” techniques which help them to improve current flexibility and strength of muscles, release tension in the body, improve breathing capacity, confidence and quality of relaxation.

All practices are based on yoga techniques and are suitable for all abilities. If using a wheelchair, movements can be made passively with the help of carers, who are also welcome to attend. Sessions begin at 1.45pm and last until 3pm and are operated on a drop in basis to clients who are registered with The Haven |
