Ladies' Lunch Sunday 4th Ocober 2009
Attended by more than 180 women across the region, this popular annual event in The Haven calendar enabled friends and supporters of the Haven to hear directly from the Founder of The Haven Dr Rosalie Dunn MBE about the Haven developments over the past year which included a new Outreach in Cambuslang and recent awards which have recognized the high standard of individual care provided to Haven clients.
After lunch Linda Fabiani MSP delighted the audience with her experiences of public life and her time as Minster for Europe External Affairs and Culture. As well as her amusing stories, Linda also conveyed to the audience her continued passion and enthusiasm that she has for politics.
Guests took part in a silent auction, raffle and bought a range of Christmas cards and gifts.
The total amount raised at the event was a fantastic £7539.30
