Information & Advice, Support Services On Illness
The Haven provides a wide range of information for clients to access. Information is available on many different topics including:
- Cancer
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Motor Neurone Disease
- Complementary therapies
- Diet
- Relaxation
Information is available in different formats, including:
- Booklet form
- books available from the lending library
- CDs and DVDs
Clients are supported in accessing appropriate information by the specialist nurse, therapists and trained volunteers who are available to answer and explain any questions or issues the client has.
Clients can obtain information on other health care services that may be of further support and help. If appropriate the specialist nurse can signpost / refer clients to these.
